Company History
Laurence Mathews opened its first store in the UK in 1945 at Southend in Essex.
In 1969, Laurence Mathews moved to the new Victoria Circus shopping centre.
In 1990, Laurence Mathews underwent a change of management followed by a move to much larger premises in Queen's Road in the heart of Southend town centre.
